Does anyone have any experience or advice in chaging the guages of a 94 Vette over to the white glow guages that can be found at L3racing@yahoo.com? I am pretty handy, as I installed and repaired elevators and escilators for 35 years. I have changed the radio in my 94 Vette and replaced the damaged parts of the dash and console. I am a little worried about the pointers of the guages. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
liftrod
Do a search on guages in C4 Tech/Perf for a lot of info. After reading a bunch of posts on this, it doesnt seem like it real easy but doable if you understand auto electronics. There are expensive plug in "kits" out there, ranging from around $750 up towards $2k. I have seen a guy modifying '90 model Trans Am dashes that are close to plug and play 'cause they are GM.
I would love to replace mine but money and skill levels keep me from doing it.
To
Leftoverture or any one that can help with the guages. If you sign on to ebay.com and type in item number 390183374675 you can see the guages that I want to install.

Those would look pretty cool in your Vette. The auction goes for 6 days. Ask the seller if he can give you a copy of the installation instructions to review prior to bidding. That way you can review and decide if it's something you want to tackle or not.
