Is offset measured from where the wheel bolts up in
to the center of the car ?
assuming you have the Z51 car w/ stock 9.5" wheels at 36mm-
Stock C6 is 8.5" fronts at 54mm and will fit almost perfect. You might want a 1/2" spacer to bring em out a hair.
The rears are 63mm on 10s, so you will need a 1" adapter
(adapters bolt to the hub and then have their own studs to mount the rim to- spacers have no studs, which means you will want longer studs in the hub to accomodate).
offset is the difference between the center of the wheel to the hub mount.
example- a 10" rim- center is 5". If the 10" wheel had a 'zero' offset, there would be a 5" backspace.
With a 63mm offset, it's aprox 2-1/2" further back from center, so you would add the 5" (center of the wheel) plus the 2-1/2", plus another 1/2" rim lip, for a total of 8" backspace.

Where have you found a 325/30-18 tire?
I've searched at Tire Rack and Discount Tire, and neither of them show a tire in that size.
They have a 335/30-18 tire
The recommended rim width is 11.5" - 12.5" though.
sorry guys im a bit confused about off set and back space, i have a 85 and im looking at putting c5 rims (17 in) with 7 in backspacing and i believe the backspacing on a stock c4 85 is 6, so will i need a one in spacer? thanks guys

oh and roughly what does a spacer cost
In short, yes, you will need adapters on all 4 wheels (1" will be fine). They run about $60 a pair and can be found on ebay.
