Default Iggee covers

I've ordered a set. Now, do I have to remove the seat pads from the hard pan? Or do you just cover the whole darn seat and pan?
Thanks
Chuck

They slide over the original covers. I took my seats out of the car, but it is not necessary, just a little easier.

Sure would like to see pics when your done. I have been debating about covering or changing my worn seat covers.

I looked at your pictures. It looks like the iggee's slide over that plastic seat pan. I'm planning on removing my seats also, but wasn't sure if the iggee's were cut to cover the seat pans; with a hole cut for the lever to pull the back forward.

Default Iggee's seats

The Backs slide over the pan. there is a hole in the back for the lever.
I have them and I'm very happy. They look good, the price was right and the quality is there. No regrets.

Someone said the Red covers clashed with the Red of the Corvette. I see the Red and Black, was it a problem?
Thanks

I poped out the bottom cusion and just slid the back ones over the seat. They fit tight and most people think my seats are redone. They are a great cover for the money.

Put them on a week ago and they are very nice. Fit well over the contour of the seats. Well spent money.

I agree with both of you. I did mine last night and the best part is I bought them off a member here for $80 bucks, here is a pic.

I've got a set of Iggee's on for over five years now. They still look great. The installation is about 10-15 minutes per seat.

I'm not impressed with the set that I've got...

IMO they are a bit to stretched which means they take a lot of the "bucket" away from the seats. Some seem to tuck into the side supports better than others. You can see the difference between the black and the grey set above. The grey set "smooths" out the rear and results in sliding around more.

Dan, after the interior gets heated up a bit, they tend to get the wrinkles out themselves.

My opinion is, the iggees are probably just fine. you never get a snug fit with leather "covers". If you do then that's a bonus. A lot of things go into play with covers such as the condition of the seats and the foam.

waste of money IMO ... I paid 323.00 for leatherlike covers for my 90 sport seats .... A breeze to install & I have never done upholstery work before. Rather spend a few extra bucks and have way better looking seats.

My seat switch bezels are all cracked, that is why it is baggy in that area but I have new bezels now and they pulled the vinyl in that area tight.

Went with a set of previously loved covers from mid america. This should get me by until I actually replace the seats.

I have a set of the red and black from igee. The red portion of the covers has faded to a nearly pink color, and the black has faded also.Ive had them on for 2yrs.My car is garage kept except when I take it to work .Thats the only time its exposed to the sun.And that isnt all that often (I live in Iowa). They looked really good when I got them. They fit well. But now the color is way way to pink.I shuold have just recovered the seats with real leather instead.A wasted 230 dollars.Live and learn I quess.
