Is the check engine light on ?
Have you checked the codes ?
Only need a paperclip to read codes and you can likely find the key to the codes in our tech section.
Could be an Idle Solenoid issue too !
You need to include the year for anyone to make a good guess !
Oh yeah bad gas will make one black smoke and Idle rough !
Ohmed your injectors? A new set of injectors took care of my recent rough idle problem. Good chance someone will chime in on troubleshooting your problem.

Good chance you have sticky/plugged injectors. Ohming them will tell you if they have bad coils, but won't show if they are plugged or sticking. Also check for vacuum leaks and a sticky or leaking egr valve.

An ohmeter will only find GROSS injector coil failures! An ohmeter will not find an injector with a turn to turn short in its coil and this kind of failure will prevent an injector from working. This is true because injector coils are pulsed. You really need an impedance bridge to conclusively electrically test injector coils. I found one bad injector with an impedance bridge on my 87 vette and my ohmeter said it was exactly like the other 7 injectors. I'm not saying don't use your ohmeter, I merely pointing out that an ohmeter isn't a definitive test.

Mine wouldnt start after driving it. It left me flatbedded at of all places my insurance company.
It ran rough before that, but I just figured it was from sitting for a few weeks. Then the flatbedding.
Found out, my EGR was stuck open. Replaced that and now my car runs better than ever.
So EGR valve is one possibility. Every once in a while, i will get ambitious and check my vacuum lines, once in a while I find one that is brittle or cracked and replace it.
