Default How to adjust throttle cable?

91 L98 stock.
The throttle cable near TB has a lot of slack in it, therefore when depressing gas pedal the cable is pulling the mechabism which opens throttle but nowhere near touching the trottle stop. The same amopunt of play is in my gas pedal as well. At least 1 inch slack.

Ive looked everywhere in FSM to no avail?

This should be an easy adjustment but cant fig. it out.

Ideas?

Simple fix would be to just shorten the cable near the TB.

Knee jerk reaction is you has them mounted wrong. One way out could be cable, two sounds like mounting. Check your FSM for that.

Just got back from mechanic.

Cable is stretched, no adjustment.
He says he could try under by gas pedal, otherwise i need new Throttle cable.

Anyone want to buy a 91 vert?
I'm sick of this ****.

Trade you my 84
The throttle bolts to the floor board, you could build a spacer.
I have been thinking about doing that to mine to get a little more travel in my cable without modifying the peddle itself.
