Coupe removable hatch?
Hello, I just an 84 vette. I has the removable top. Can the hatch window be removed easily? It has the privacy cover so it would seem if that was off it would feel like a convertible... Has anyone done this? Would it look stupid? Do they make any aftermarket quick disconnect parts to do this easy if its not a simple thing to do?

People have done it (there are a few pics around on the forum) but its not "easy" per-say. I have never done it and never will. You would have to take the gas pistons off, disconnect the rear defroseter, then unbolt the whole thing. Im pretty sure the hatch is heavy so...
As for the looks, I dont like how the rear panels curve upward. It looks good with the hatch on though

For the most part, just keep it on and enjoy the targa top! You wont even know there is a hatch behind you most of the time!
