I've come to the realization that I can do much better than $500 a yr for coverage.
It's 25 years old now. Where can I get coverage with a guaranteed amount?
Catch is I want to drive it to work every day from April - November (non snow days of course). About 3000 - 3500 miles a yr.
Anyone for recommendations are appreciated.

I just insured my '93 with Farm Bureau along with our other daily vehicles. Quote was like $446/year for full coverage. But, being in MI, it had comp only for the winter (I think it was about $21) and for 6 months of full coverage it will be $223, so a total of around $244 to insure it for a year. Plus, my sons can occasionally drive it, which wouldn't have been allowed had I gone the classic insurance route. Now, I am 54, have a clean record, have a multi-vehicle dicount, and a discount because I insure my house with them.
No mileage restrictions, and I don't think I'd have too bad of a time if the car was totaled (this is not agreed value).

I recently switched to the NCM insurance with their agent Adam Boca and am very happy with both the coverage and rates. I got the "rider" that allows the car to be driven to work a couple times a week although I'm not sure if they'd have a daily option, along with both agreed upon value and roadside assistance as well as safety glass replacement. I'd suggest emailing Adam and asking if they'd offer something that would fit your needs. My rate was just over half what I was paying and this is for full coverage yearlong.

NCM and Adam are the greatest

They may offer full usage coverage....give Adam a call.
