Suspension Advice
Changed 4 shocks last weekend on my 85. Rides better, but still jumps around quite a bit and feels like I hit a 2x4 when going over some cracks in the road. Is it more likely the front or the rear bushings that you would think need work. They all look fine even though 25 yrs old.

How old are your tires? I'm just guessing here but maybe their rubber is pretty hard. I would check your tire pressure too, maybe under or over inflated. I changed my shocks from Monroe Sensa-Tracs to Bilsteins and thought it would make a greater improvement than it did.

What kind of shocks did you put on it? The Bilsteins are very stiff and you'll feel all the bumps.
I remember when I had my bushings changed. The original looked ok, but obviously they were hard as a rock. It made a BIG difference. I went with the poly kit from VBP
I put monroes on about 2 months ago. 1800 miles, they have sofened up quite alot. they were stiffer when I first put them on. other forum members think they are junk. They have soften the ride too much for me, but they are still 10 times better than worn out bilstiens.
