Thanks for all the nice comments.

I like them all, but I have kept the blue one for over 20 years and I think it still looks pretty good too.

The white one is my daily driver. I put 100 miles a day on it just commuting to work and back.

The 99 I have only had for about a year. It was a good deal and I couldn't pass it up. I like it pretty well so far too.

It is kind of fun posting pictures, so I will add some of my other current cars.

06 Charger R/T

96 Caprice LT1

S10

Blazer

I did a double-take on the pic of your white '94. Saw the rims and thought it was a '90, then realized it wasn't. Looks really good actually, the '90 Corvette rims are one of my favorites. First time I've seen them on a later C4.

Well, if it were a parkin lot of Lambo's and Ferrari's I'd sum it up to "because he can", but there seems to be a lot of practical vehicles. Just wondered why the need for so many.

There is some logic to my choices.

85- - This is my “keeper” I have had it for a long time, like it a lot, and try to keep it nice. The picture is right after I tried a clay bar on it and waxed it.

94- - This is my daily driver. I got it pretty reasonably because I wanted a 6 speed and I expected to put a lot of miles on it. It is up to 123,000 miles now. I needed something that gets good mileage. It gets about 30 on the highway and at fill ups it averages about 27.5 with my mix of driving (mostly highway). The 90 wheels are on it because I like them. I have a set of the 94 wheels, and use them sometimes. I also have a set of the 88 16” wheels that I use in the winter.

I trade off my daily driver every few years. My last one was an 88 Corvette. I had it for about 2 years and 40,000 miles and sold it for almost what I paid for it. That makes a Corvette daily driver a very affordable car, but one that I can enjoy.

99- - I have liked the FRC’s since they came out, and I finally found a good one at a good price. I expect this will be my toy for a while.

Charger- - This is my wife’s daily driver.

Caprice- - I have had this car for about a 10 years and did a lot of work to it (suspension and engine) It is a good car for a full size. I drove it a lot for every day, for trips, and when I needed to take passengers. There is no point in getting rid of it. Have you seen the prices for Caprices? You practically have to give them away if you are getting rid of them.

S10- - I need a truck for occasionally hauling stuff. It is a ZQ8 that I bought new. It has 166,000 miles on it now. This is another one that there is no point in selling. Old ones with that many miles are so cheap now, and I still need a truck sometimes.

Blazer- - It is 4 wheel drive. We need something for when it tries to snow us in, and for camping.

The bottom line- - We like toys. We like to work on them. We like to drive them

Well you're certainly right about the resale value (of nearly anything), it's sometimes much more logical to keep them.

I am originally from Iowa, seeing the background on the pics, especially your blue vette makes me a little homesick. I hate being around buildings and concrete day in day out, but I dont miss the snow you get back in the midwest!

Nice rides If it were me I might sell the FRC and start hunting down a 94 or 95 Z-R1
