Odometer Not Working
Where would I look to see if my odometer is not plugged in or if it is faulty? I can't find anything about it in my Chilton manual. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

This problem is with the '88 I'm fixing to buy for my wife. We went to test drive it again over the weekend and I noticed that the miles weren't going up. I was wondering where I should look to fix it. It seems to have had some transmission work done to it, so they might not have plugged in the cable. Is the TV cable the thing that makes the odometer work? I can't find an "Odometer Cable" listed anywhere in my books. The same thing happened to me when I had my transmission worked on in my Cobalt at the DEALER! They didn't hook everything back up right. I had no Tach, no power steering, and no brakes when they got through with it. It might just be something as simple as plugged the cable back back in. (I hope).
