Has anyone installed those stripes that go on the top middle area of your hood of your C4? They are about 24" long and about 1" wide that say "L98" or "Corvette" with a Chevy logo. Most Corvette suppliers sell them. I think they only come in black or white. If so, are you happy with them?
I have seen what the decals you are talking about on multiple sites, I liked the idea but not how they taper before getting the the end of the hood so I painted my own on. I love the look

They come in almost any color you want. I bought mine from the auction site. When I got mine, there were no instructions with the first set. So, I figured it was like a big model, soak them in water, slide them on! No! They were good enough to send me a second set free because they omitted the instructions.
They're pretty easy to put on with instructions! Seem to hold up well. I got the ones with the Chevrolet in C4 script and bowtie emblem, didn't want to make people jealous of my L98!
In hindsight, I'd just stick with a solid stripe. The unanchored pieces get to be tricky, (the center of the letter O and the bowtie). Overall I really like it, and have gotten compliments on the stripes. On a white car, it really breaks up that big hood.
