Default Final "C4 Eulogy" post

For those of you that offered so much support and have followed along, this is the last post concerning this car. Hopefully I will one day post about the next one I get. I received the check today for the car. The final tally from their insurance company is a hair over $21,000. I owe the finance company about $16,900 so the balance will be mine. They are coming to take the car away tomorrow. Once I get back to work, I will be driven to put as much money away as I can so I can get back in the saddle. Nothing can get you over a Corvette like getting back in one. I'll still be on the forum spending the money .02 at a time. I'm going to leave the sig the same till the next one comes along. Thanks again for all the kind words from the forum. Special thanks to L98punk and 98TXcoupe, you two will be responsible if the next one is blue or some variation of blue, and have been good friends through all this car crap I have had to deal with.

Well at least you are still here to tell the story. Good luck in your next purchase, it shouldn't take that long.

Look at the positive. You came out smelling like a rose financially. C4's, hell C5's are everywhere. Buyers market. etc. You'll be fine, hang in there! :D :yesnod:

It'll be tough not having a Vette to drive, but hang in there and one will come your way. You will love the new one as much as you did this one.

Jeff (Aerovette)-
Well you know how you, me and Doug (L98Punk) have always talked about going down the road "red, white & blue"... I guess that's means a blue one would be in your future :D In any case, anything you need help with, you know all you have to do is ask, Doug and I will be right there for ya.

Hell, your pretty much the reason that I'm driving mine now, so you just let me know when your ready to go shopping again. I'll be more than happy to help you spend YOUR money this time! Because just remember... you need that

Many many thanks to all of you. Brad(98TXCoupe) that is a great picture of the car. Once that C5 pays it's dues you are going to be sittin' pretty (jab). Yeah I am ready to get back in the saddle. I am thinking Admiral Blue would really complete the picture. I hope to get another this summer. Got the penny jar filling up already. Thanks again to members of the forum for their support. I am still reading posts and participating (with a bit of envy), but I'll be back with my own car as soon as I can !!!

Yeah, finally got around to taking some pictures. A digital camera, a little software and a little time learning how to post... and bingo :D
