When my dad gets off work were putting in the new battery got any tips?

How do i remove the old battery?
I think my battery went out today. When i try to turn it on it does nothing. It doen't even show how many miles I can go with the amount of gas I have, and radio doesn't work. :mad :cry How much do Vette batterys cost and what kind are they lol? :sad: :confused:

I just picked up a Delco for mine since I wanted to keep it original looking. It's not hard to replace a battery. About a 10 min job.

Actually, the boys at Walmart didnt do it. They wanted to write a service order to test if my old battery was dead if it was still in the car. So....I took out the battery, tested it at 135 CCA, walked inside, bought it, borrowed their tools and installed it myself. Heck no would I let a 17 yr old HS dropout touch my car. But the installation HAD I actually let them touch would have been free. No core charge...strange.....
Oh, the Walmart battery was yellow. I kinda felt there was a theme....

just get an AC Delco Battery
whoever the schmuck was that owned my car before me slapped an Interstate battery in it. but If it goes bad i'll be getting a Delco
