Default Headlight upgrade question

I have been searching the old posts on headlight upgrades. I do not want to spend the $$$$$ on HID. So the question is should I get the
E code sealed lights or the Hella non-sealed with the H4 bulbs.

Also, where does everyone buy these for the best price?

I was going to change the fogs to the HID since that is short money.

Any ideas would be appreciated !!

i would get the hella non sealed with h4. you can change it to a better bulb like a silverstar or whatever. im goin to get the hella and then HIDs on mine. it cant be that expensive. is their something else involved other than just getting the conversion and the hid kit?

I picked up a set of sealed Silverstar at Pep Boys Auto parts for $40.00.

I was going to go the other way but this works for me.

Just installed Silver Stars, too. Nice bright white light. Much better than standard bulbs they replaced.
I haven't seen any HIDs locally, but I would like to compare mine to those if I get a chance.

Installed Hella with H4 bulbs in January 02...no problems since install. Selected 100/55 bulbs, but having read other posts since would go with 100/80 today. Check out this website....call and they will help you decide bulbs for your use. http://www.rallylights.com/default.aspx
