Worst drought in New England in 37 years, warmest winter on record, 70 degrees a week ago. Vette is shined and ready for spring.
Fast forward a week, almost a foot of snow on Monday, and on the first day of spring 7 more inches of snow and counting, expecting over a foot by the time it is all said and done   .
A full winters worth of salt and sand has been spread on the ground in just 2 days, and if the temperatures don't warm up to at least 50 degrees, it will take 3 weeks for this snow to melt.
WHY DOES MOTHER NATURE HATE CORVETTES :mad :mad :mad
Stupid freakin winter, Too crappy yet to even consider getting the cars on the road, but too mild all winter for the lakes and swamps to freeze up enough for the groomers to get out safely and make the trails for snowmobiling. This means I can't enjoy either hobby. Then it rains and everything starts to melt (yahoo), then it snows again so they have to resalt, just so the morons who can't drive don't cause more carnage. I'm so sick of this I could :U
Mine was out Monday, and it's been out today as well, Yes I am feeling alright! I am just a little more LAXED with the new paint. Despite it has flaws(my luck) I thought I'd put a few more in! :reddevil
How did we get from b**ch'n about snow to birds or did your car also get a big Purple Pile O crap on it today too like siberianhuskey911. Natures OK, Im just glad that bears dont fly, some of the piles they leave at the back of our property  .
I am hoping to have em back on the road by mid april.
I am also getting a bit sick of this snow. My calendar says spring begins today. Not in MN. If it were spring I wouldn't be shivering while I stand outside flicking cigarette butt's at my Dodge Colt. Yeah HA Ha HA. It happens to have the smallest engine they offered, A 1.5Litre. :U on the Dodge and :U on the snow.
One simple answer...Move South. Here a cold day is low 60s. Never have to store the vette. Work on it anytime almost. Don't need no stinkin heated garage. Biggest complaint, to many other people already here. Lots of other areas in the south not nearly so populated. I will be movin on in about 18 months back to the DFW area, a little less crowded than where I am now.
Count me in. I am going down to Florida in April to look for a new home. Cannot handle Michigan Winters any more. Up here we have two seasons....Winter's coming and Winters here. Love the north country and will come back for the summers here. TA TA... :seeya
