Default Headlight bezel screws

Does anyone know where I can find some extra screws for the headlight bezel on my 86 coupe? The screw heads are flat and require a Torx bit, here is a picture. Im looking for the screw that would go in that big hole there.

Thanks

You would think you could get that from anyone parting out a c4. Try Sean at corvettenutz. His forum handle is onerarez16. Give him a PM

Used is good if you can find em. Corvette Central has them, I bought two for my car from them. You wont find a substitute at HD or Lowes. They have to be pan head screws to fit flush or you will chip the paint on the hood openings.

About five years ago, I purchased a screw kit on Fleabay.com for $19.95. They came in a bag with about 12 smaller bags of different sizes. I'm working off that origional purchase.

Is there a auto paint/body shop supply company nearby? You can usually find small screws like that. Also try auto parts supply stores that cayy the "HELP" blister packs of small parts

Or drop by an auto body shop. Body and paint shops usually have bins of various sizes of small trim screws, nuts and bolts and similar small items for re-attaching parts and trim.

The screw type is actually called a flat or countersunk head, not pan heads, sorry. The headlight cover screws arent typical proportionally. If you find a screw thread that will fit the clip, the head will probly be too big. Its a strange looking screw. It has a really course threaded shank that looks too thick for the head size. I guess if you changed the fastening clip you could match up the screw to something that would fit flush.

Good Luck!
