Default 89 Back up lights.

Hey everyone. I have a 89 Vette that I needed some back up lights for. I found some on Ebay and ordered what I though was the right and left side. Before I raise h--l, can I assume that there is a definete left side and a definite right side, not either side fits either side. The two that I received had the letter R on them and in order to install the left side the R was uspside down. Before I do this I could us some input. Thanks for everyting.

I am not looking for the bulbs, rather information on the assembly. Is there a definite Left and right side?

I found this on Corvette America's website, looks to me like you could just roll em over for either side....they only list a right side.

Yep, there is a left and right housing. There is a hole at the bottom to allow any moisture to escape. If it's at the top...it doesn't work so well.
