Default Do I still need an alignment?

I just changed my c5 z06 reps with original c5 thin spokes with tires. My old set had a medium lean to the left. But I didn't align it because I knew I would change the set soon. I put these new ones on (40% tires) and they drive perfectly in a straight line no lean or anything. I have never driven a car so neutral in my life. My question is do I still need an alignment? Do they still do something that I'm not aware of?

If you only have 40% tread left why not wait and get the alignment when you put new tires on the wheels.

My old z06 tires were totally gone so i sold the rims/tires. I got this new set used with both tires and wheels. 40% will last me a good 12+ months. I'm just wondering if the car drives perfectly straight should I still get alignment done. Like if they do something that I don't know about but is important.

If it goes straight, I'd just keep an eye on tire wear. Get it aligned if you get uneven tire wear. If it ain't broke...
