Default 1989 directional wheels?

I recently purchased used wheels for my 1989 Corvette Convert. These are '89 Corvette wheels that are cosmetically bad. My plan was to store the Vette during the winter on it's old tires and these old wheels to prevent the brand new Goodyear Eagle GS D3s from flat spotting. In cleaning the inside of the wheels I notice that I have three "Right side" wheels and one "left side". The owner's manual says that both tires (which I knew) and wheels are directional and:"must roll in a certain directionfor the best overall performance". I know storing the car on these wheels won't matter, but could I drive it for a few days if we get nice weather as long as the tires roll in the right direction?
My most sincere thanks for any opinions and replys!

Yes, you can drive your Vette with the backwards wheel it'll just look a little odd!

Which direction the wheel rotates will not make any difference. Rotating a directional tire the wrong way might, under certain circumstances.

Had the same problem on my 89, I drove it for over a year that way. No problems at all. I bought new Z06 rims and new tires this year. What a difference !!!

Many thanks guys. I am always impressed and in this case relieved, by the collective wisdom of fellow owners. All my best,

I believe the rims are directional for maximized brake venting.

It was not just about looks. Chevrolet had a reason. Thats why I would not replace stock wheels with after market ones.

You can look at my album and see how they should look. You can rotate tires front to back but not side to side.
