That's no worse than posts I see on here in C4 Gen every day.
I often wonder exactly what is being taught in elementary schools today. Are they passing kids with obvious language deficiencies under the guise of protecting their self-esteem? The dumbing down of America seems to have reached critical mass, and nowhere is it more apparent than online message boards.

We only wish that it has reached “critical mass”. I fear it will only get worse. These goons of today will breed. Ever see idiocracy? They didn't know they were making a documentary when they shot it.

It isn't just elementary schools. My current boss here just finished his MBA. I make no apologies for using words that may not be in common use; I figure they can ask me what it means if they wish. One day I used a word that he called me on, and I provided the definition. After discussing my vocabulary, he suggested that business majors did not worry about large vocabularies because they wanted to keep their communication direct and to the point.
I was dumbfounded, a person with a MBA making the case for the emasculation of the english language.
The word I used... nefarious. I caught myself before accusing him of being obtuse.

And when a kid doesn't do well, everybody plays "pass the buck". The teacher says the kid's not doing his work and the parents say the teacher's are not doing their job. Now, there are experimental classrooms that pay kids for good grades! Jesus, what a mess...
Im not think as you drunk I am,............ Unfortunally down here in florida the only thing they are concerned with teaching our kids in elementary school is how to score well on the FCAT test ( in public schools) I to after reading it quite a few times could not figure out what the guy said
