Default Blinking Green light?

Hello,

Werid one, not sure whats up or if its normal? The light above the "off" switch on the AC/Heat settings, blinks on and off for like a minute once the car is turned on.. After a minute or so the light goes solid.. Why does it blink at first????

Thanks

The blinking light indicates there is a fault code stored in the climate control head, see the link below to learn how to pull the codes.

Once you have the code you can scroll down to view parameters related to that problem. For best results use the Factory Service Manual after retrieving codes to isolate and repair the problem, a code indicates a problem with the circuit it does not necessarily mean the part is bad, good luck.

The solar load sensor is the one located on the top center of the instrument panel, how difficult code 07 will be to repair depends on the diagnosis. As mentioned earlier that requires following the diagnostic tree in the FSM. Pages for code 07 copied below, I strongly suggest you purchase your own copy, it will quickly pay for itself.

In this case - overloaded sensor - nothing, but if you took it out of the off setting - that light would quit blinking on and off.
