Ok I have a 1995 Corvette LT1. When I bought the car I had the transmission rebuilt. Ok here comes the problem...I have had it for almost 4 years and it has been sitting outside. I have not put a 1000 miles on it yet. But here recently when I drive it say for an hour or so smoke comes from the transmission (leaking oil) my mechanic friend says it may be the front seal?Any ideas from anyone?
There are approximately 20 places that an auto transmission can leak, in regards to gaskets, o-rings etc.
Your post does not tell us any usable info, not even if you have an auto or stick.
If you are willing to crawl under the car (properly and safely supported), I will do whatever I can to assist. If you have not done this yet, it is time. If you are unwilling to get dirty, call a shop and write a check.
