Default Before $ After

Everyone likes a little before and after right? Here is mine.
On Dec 5,2009 I bought a very neglected, not running, been sitting outside for four years 1987. I paid the full asking price of $500.00. This was not my first C4 and probably won't be my last. Before

AfterIt has been a long battle with this car, I swore at times the car just wanted to die and had no will to live. I am a shop owner and work 55 hrs a week so ambition can be hard to come by sometimes.
Before After
Thanks to all the passionate and knowlegeable folks here and elsewhere this vette is becoming a lady again
Before After
There have been some surprises along the way such as and finding a 4.11 geared D44
Hope to see some of you on the road this summer
Bob

Great job, well done. Did you re-paint or just buff it out? A lot of hand work on the engine detail. And you have the SuperRam. Hey, you can take of the SR and sell it and be $1000 ahead of your purchase!!

Thanks guys,
John I had that SR off and on 6 or 7 times, I should have sold it. I sent it to a machine shop to have studs put in and to have the lower intake surfaced. The machine shop glass beaded everything and I just added some hi temp silver paint. No energy to polish it ( maybe on the next one)
Some shameless advertising

I like when they are brought back to life. There is a 1989 a saw that just broke down. I was thinking about buying off of him. He wants $2000.00. Im thinking about doing what you did.

does that have the C5 brake upgrade on it too? Nice work shining it all up, you got a killer deal, the SR or the brakes alone are worth more than what you paid for the car!
