Default Instrument cluster removal

I have a question for anyone who has removed the instrument cluster and when removed whether the rear part of the housing it sits in can be removed accessing the fire wall. This is my next job after it's cooled down, many someone could give me a heads up. Many thanks...

Thanks, someone needed to Batee him

Might try the SEARCH function Its amazing how many times THIS week this theme has been posted. 'Course the fire wall access is a new one, thanks for the slight variation.

Oh and welcome to the jungle. Mandatory Vette pics must be posted or access will be denied after one week.............

So sorry, of course the year, it's a 1984 and I really need to access the upper part of the firewall. And I will post a pic of my 84' silver bullet. Thanks guys.....
PS, Batee doesn't cover this question.

Sorry myself, I just looked at your post again and I gather the problem isnt with the LCD but something else you want with the firewall. The batee website is geared for 84, look at all the different pages to see what needs to be removed. Other than that a factory service manual may be your only option to get to where you need to go.

I didnt realize you have been around a while, just not posting much. We also like lurkers who research what they need, there is a wealth of knowledge here. Good luck with whatever you are trying to do.
