Ok I apologize, it should have read, modification or stock, that's about all I can see wrong with this post.
This was about all I could think of to consider before modding the car.
I'm sure there's more that you could have shared with me.
Is it possible? If you've got the money, it can be done. What exactly are you asking is possible? Can you mod your car??? Well of course.
What will it do to my car?Make it faster, stop better, or handle better, unless you've got a ton of money to do all three. I go for handling first, stopping second, faster third.
What will it do to the value of my car?Generally not much depending on the mods. Sometimes it'll make the car harder to sell, but it'll very rarely increase the value of the car. I'm thinking unicorn rare.
Is it better to get another car?No.
What are you going to do in the future?Me? More chassis/suspension mods, then bigger brakes.
Quality of parts? The better the parts, the less work you usually have to do.
I am considering this because I have an intake manifold leak
May even have a Renegade for sale.Go for it!
I took the bait. Couldn't help it. Has to be the weirdest set of questions ever.

the 2nd question- 'is it possible?' - what does that mean? is what possible?
Like I told you before, you're asking way to much in one thread that you're getting all scrambled up on your thoughts.
Figure out what your biggest concern is and put in out there. Then, after responses, you can delve in further.
You're post should've read something like this...
I have an 84. Would it hurt the value if I modified the engine? If not, what type of mods can I do to get more power?
ok Astro, I'm feeling your pain....
To answer your question in the simplest terms, you can dump tons of cash into your engine/suspension/brakes and it will never perform as well as a newer model. It really depends on how much you like your car. You could probably toss a few thousand dollars at it and see 300 hp. If you're paying someone else to do the work, you could easily spend more than that. Then, if it goes faster, it has to handle better and stop faster!!! You need deep pockets, bro. And when it's all done, it won't be worth near as much as you've got invested in it!
Do it because it makes you smile, not because it's going to be worth more! Now to rub a little salt in the wound... once you've got your 300 ponies and you drive it for a while, you're going to come to the realization that 300 hp just isn't enough. Then, back to the bank you go! Ask me how I know!!!! Good luck
Modification, Stock or original?> What??
Is it possible?> What?
What will it do to my car? What??
