I hope you have a spare set at the house. Call someone and have them bring them over. Otherwise... it's time for a locksmith.
Got AAA? They'll come get in to the car, and cut you
a new key. Now, how that will play with VATS is another
story.
Here's a AAA story. I SCUBA dive Monterey most every
weekend (NOT out of the 'vette). We were there a
couple of years ago and a fellow was kayak diving,
and dumped the 'yak. His dive gear (with keys tied in
a pocket) sank. Adm. Linda and I did a dive in the area,
and didn't find it. He called AAA, they came out, got in,
cut him a new key (apparently the key code is hidden
somewhere in the car), and he went home. About six
months later a buddy of mine found and recovered his
dive gear, and it got back home. This was not in a
'vette.
'MMM. With patience and a collection of resistors from
Radio Shack, you could hot wire the VATS. Figure
about an hour and a half.
My Pathfinder has an RFID key. That would be a lot
harder.
