A friend of mine is purchasing a 1993 C4 and is dying to buy a full Greenwodd kit for the car. Where is the best place to buy one where he can save some bucks? I believe the full kit includes full ground effects & rear spoiler. Thanks.

UhOh!!, Now you`ve done it. All the "body kit" haters will be chimeing in shortly
Ps: I have the full kit on my `87, while my `90 just has the Greenwood wing. They were all on the cars when I got them, so I don`t know who has the cheapest prices. If you do a Google search of Greenwood Corvette body kits, a plethora of sites come up.
I have a Greenwood kit on my '86 - finally took the front spoiler piece off after going through two of them! I would never put one on the front again! The car sits low as it is and the front spoiler is not practical. Just my 2 cents!
The best place I have seen is ebay. They pop up every so often. One thing to keep in mind is that there are about a half dozen different "Greenwood kits" for C4s. Look at their website and you can see some of the differences.
I've been looking for a Greenwood G4 wing for quite a while. If you see one let me know!
On a side note, I couldn't care less about the people who don't like it.
a used one is a good idea, however it depends on how it was put on> i believe mine was sealed with black silicon and i think trying to remove it will be badly damaged. believe it or not some junk/salvage yards might have them, but again they will probably be in very bad shape.
If you go with the new ones, the 3rd party dealers can even paint them to your specific color

Thats still one of the best looking C4s on the forum IMHO

I've had mine off and on for random things... it comes off with no damage at all. Out of curiosity... why would you have body trim pieces attached with silicone? Only exception on mine is the windshield trim pieces. Those are glued on to the windshield but if you are careful you can get them off. Everything else is attached with screws and easily removed.

Thanks a bunch!
i didn't want people telling me to remove it...
i think i did it more for aesthetic reasons. since this thread, i thought i try and remove one of the smaller pieces in the rear as a test and it came right off. Its actually only an even bead and not necessarily attached with silicon.
I have the full Greewood kit on my 90 Quasar blue coupe. It was on when I bought the car six years ago. Many guys hate them, but thats O.K., I get many compliments on my car. Do what you want. I really am very poor on posting pictures so I cant show how good it looks. As for the front piece I have broken it twice, however since I am a retired painter/bodyman fixing it was not a big deal for me. But be warned the front will be very low and easy to break. Do not, whatever you do, buy a cheap clone, like the one sold by C5 West. Took me 6 months of cutting and filling to get it close and that took some pieces from Greenwood.

The one thing I love about this car in no rear wing. I wouldn't change a thing. If I ever bought a kit, it would be just like this setup with no rear wing.
