Default 383 emblem

OK so i want to get emblems to go on the side of my hood behind the front tires that say 383 stroker...my friend is able to make them for me using some kind of water jet..so i have to draw what i want them to look like..i do not know if i want the 383 on top and the stroker right below or the stroker to the side... nor do i know if i should center them or put them closer to the tires...does anyone have emblems on the car around this area to give me some kind of idea?

I had emblems made out of vinyl for my 85. I wanted an L98 emblem to mount on the hood bulge like the C3's had. It was cheap and when I didn't like it anymore, I could peel it off. I used the rear emblem as a template for size and font and they came out great.

That should be reported to the Department of Redundancy Department.

Not all 383s are strokers. Mopar had a 383 (but I'll admit I never saw one in a Corvette).

Yep, and that 383 Stroker emblem on E-bay is a direct copy of the Mopar emblem

Not likely to see a B Block Wedge Motor in one either. I made my first pass down a Drag Strip in my Dads' brand new '66 Dodge 383 4BBL, when I was 16. So I'm aware of the Mopar motor. When you see 383 on the side of a Chevy, you can be pretty sure it's a stroked SBC.
As for being redundant; I assumed by the Smilie, he thought the whole idea was a bad one. Personally I think the OP should do whatever makes him happy. Y'all are sure quick to pounce...weather too hot?
