I'm bettin on amps in the speakers. The Bose system does not have an amp in the head, they are at each speaker instead. The amp is a small plug-in circuit board located on the speaker.
If your speakers are completely out- I think there is a fuse for the speakers, might check that as well.

Mike, Thats pretty much the same unit in my '02 Silverado. There are no amps on the speakers. I had blown three door speakers before I finally replaced them all. The factory speakers are pretty crummy units.
Replaced with Infinity speakers and all has been well for seven years.
Hey Jeff, what have I got here. Any details on how it works? Its not a bose?
Mike
looks like my 97 .... but .... that circular looking sticker on the display face is usually associated with monsoon. so it very well could be a bose. Your's is the first I have seen like that, how many speakers does it have? Think my 97 has 4 but could be wrong, I believe the bose head unit in this car is not like the vette and the amplifier is built into it.
try turning the SCV power **** up and see if that helps.
Okay I read a little bit on this, there does seem to be a amp in the car it is located by the spare tire. It is nothing like what the 90-96 vettes use nor is there a CDM with your setup. Just replace the speakers and if the still don't work buy the amp it's not that expensive. But there were two versions of the amp one for 6 speakers and one for 8. You will need your RPO code to determine what system you have.
