Is there a way to manually lower electric windows? I've done the truble shooting to the point of where the FSM says "replace switch", and doubt the switch it the problem. I've pulled the connector to the regulator motor and put a voltmeter to it and when I hit the switch I got power at the connector, so I believe it's the regulator motor.
This is for a '92 I am making into a track car, and need to have the window down while on the track. Eventually I want to remove the glass completely, but I couldn't get it out. It looks like I need to have the window lowered a bit to be able to maneuver the glass out.

You can get it all apart with the window in the up position. However if that dioes not work simply remove the 3 torx screw that hold that rectangular part of the motor on and slip it of then turn the armature and the window will come down. I basically bought new motors and swapped the new electrical parts onto my old motors transmission so I didn't have to deal with the pop rivets and the work great now.
Thanks, I'll see if I can get my gorilla hands into the interior and pull the motor apart. If not I'll just have to work harder at getting the glass out the way it is.
