I would!! Its still very street legal, but anymore than 3 or so hours in it my fat butt goes numb from the racing seats.
The car is not much to look at but I would like to go hang out with you guys. The only thing stopping me would be my wedding and honeymoon the end of September. After that Im sure I could make a weekend getaway, possibly before it too.
Sarge (Mike) and I put out an invitation to all of you to show up for Power Tour this year. Nobody showed.
No offense intended! I would love to be able to go to some of the bigger events like the power tour but due to distance and time, $ometime$ it ju$t doe$n't work out $o well...
It was a joke Sarge started for the Power Tour. It was over a 2000 mile journey for me just to meet up with them, and Sarge joked it wouldn't be so bad if I started in Nebraska Sort of been ongoing since then, like Ambient Lighting etc. etc.
Well there is no cap to how many can show. Its rare to have more than a handful or so at shows or in your town. I dont care if we have 100 or more. As long as people stick to their word and show I dont mind doing the work to organize.

I guess I missed the start of the running gag. my bad...
Soldier or Sailor? (your name FC soldier but your occupation Navy)
Anyway,
A C4 run is a great event to coordinate. Last October we ran the first SoCal Bomber Run. We got three guys from NoCal
Here are few pictures
Ben planned a Yosemite Run. Three C4 and four guys showed up.
...and the last Run after all that talk, and all the I received only three Vettes showed up.
Runs are fun, a bitch to plan and the place you would like to reserve for lunch may say "we don't reserve tables" but, it is great to get few C4 down the road.
In my book, a C4 line up provided great Corvette Car Show pictures, once you open their hoods it's over. Our unique feature is incomparable with all other Corvette generations.

Its Sailor but when I was younger I selected soldier due to fact I was going to try special forces. It didnt work out that way and didnt have my name swapped.
That is a great idea! I agree with Gregg on doing it here in Maryland but I think Fort McHenry would be a really cool place to meet.
I know some guys in the War of 1812 Society that may be able to pull some strings and get us a reserved area to park-just a thought...

Unless they increase their traveling range there is only two people in the bracket for travel range. One being me. I wouldnt mind meeting you there and maybe get a few more from the area to drive up. It does sound like a good location only if people are willing to extend their traveling.
