Default cam ???

Hi all just wondering how to pick a cam for my 95. She has 84000km on her with a new magnaflow cat back exhaust, the rest is stock. I want some more ponnies around 375, I will need headers and a cam I've been told. So how do I choose the cam and how much more hp from 300 should I expect.

What are you looking for in a cam? This is a good tool that should help you find what you are looking for. The first link on the web page is free to download and use as many like as you like. Like I said it's a great tool to look for the best off the shelve cam for you application.

A lot of people round here have fitted the GM LT4 Hotcam to their LT's. It's a nice power hike with a decent idle and stays within CA emissions standards.
I understand there are better cams out there, i.e. more power, but I would call up and talk to a pro who will try and see exactly what type of drive you are after, ie top end, low end, driveability etc.

Some good info if you do a search, also in C4Tech
