Settlement from UPS
Well UPS made good on the damage they did to my Fiberglass top during shipping. Took fax and re-fax of all information and estimates but perseverance paid off.
Now to get it fixed.

Both rear corners were damaged.( one chipped and one cracked) It's going to require some filling, paint and fiberglass repair. What hurt was top had never been on a car, perfect condition.It was boxed and padded, as well as filled with pellets.Box was pierced when it arrived, and most pellets gone.
I will continue to use UPS, most of the time they are fine, local guys are great.

There you go, packing peanuts are the worst type of packing material for this type of package. But if the corners were damaged, that means it was probably dropped. Were the corners of the box all bashed up?

Don't you guys start picking on the UPS people, I only get mad at them when they drive by my house and don't leave me anything. My UPS man stopped in to my garage every week to see the progress I was making. I really can't speak about his taste in cars....he has an old Ford Falcon he is beefing up.... :crazy:

Our local guys are great. They always give service that is beyond normal. I wish I could say the same about the numb nuts that manages our local center.

When ever I see big brown pull up to the house I get so excited I sometimes pee Myself.
