91 radiator experience
My 91 roadster temp runs about about 170-180 on the highway but within five minutes of getting into stop and go traffic it would start climbing to 240-250. I thought about getting a bigger radiator but decided to try cleaning mine out. When I got the shroud off I could not believe the debris and junk that had accumulated over the years. The design of the shroud does not let you see what is in there, and belive me there is stuff in there. Well, I cleaned it up and now the city traffic temp runs about 190-200 in the Texas heat. I do belive these cars could use a larger radiator, the factory is OK but is running near cacacity for us Southern drivers.
