Default Shocking ideas

Kill me later for the name of this thread, but need some input.

I want a shock to stiffen up my Vette. Any idea on what brand to get.

What I'm looking for is to make my vette more solid. I don't mind the bumps so don't worry.

I got the FX3 Bilstiens shocks on right now.

I have QA1 adjustable coilovers and its great to be able to adjust at any given time. I took 2 clicks off for a Vegas drive and the Vette had a great tour suspension.

Now, its back to "normal"

If QA1 shocks are not what you are looking for then, Bilsteins HD.

I pretty much want no play in my shocks. I know it sound weird, but it something I want to try out. I even plan on get high performance brakes to go with the shocks.

Many people here think the z51 is very stiff, and it is compared to a commuter car, but you really need to look to a true after market high performance shock, spring, and sway bar to step it up. You'll get the most control with a coil over system.

I would stay away from anything that is not changing everything you have in your suspension system, or you won't be happy.

Oh trust me when I say this. I fell in love with the DRM coil over kit. They got a kit that will work with my FX3 shocks. The great part is it all under $1000 to buy. Which will leave room for other add on later.

Thank you all that was the item I was looking for. I can't wait to put my evil grin on when I test them out for the first time.

Of ot os a race car, scrap the FX3 junk. It is just much more expense down the road. You can sell it, and use some money for mods.
