I was coming home from work last night, the weather was great and the VETTE was running perfect. I was in a great mood, when this young kid in a (rat rod FERIO) pulls up on me on I-75. Like i said I was in a good mood so i didn't even wanna look over.... After like a mile or two, i looked over because i could feel him looking over at me..
and i be damned he had the biggest MULLET I HAD EVER SEEN....
so i guess he wanted to race.....
i rolled down the window to tell him (maybe some other day)
but he couldnt hear me because of my exhaust (or lack of)
boy, was that the perfect car for him........ southern hillbillys
why did GM make that car? I thought Pontiac was Chevys brother.

After doings some quick research on the web. I found out that a well-respected (GM) designer said, " We loved the SUNBIRD so much, that we created the FERIO in its own image"
Oh, and 2seat- one of our respected members that you'll meet, oh, any minute now, has a sweet fiero in addition to his 'vette. If your 'vette's stock, you might not want to play with him, it'll probably hurt your feelings. Oh, and I notice you're new- welcome to the forum.
If the fiero had a V-8 in it it would not be a race or a supercharged 3.8 Buick in it. There are kits to easily install either one. I wish my 91 could corner as well as my 87 Fiero GT.. sigh. I put a couple grand in the suspension and could pull 1 g cornering with no problem. Much stiffer than my 91 C4 wiggle wagon..LOL..
I had a Fiero GT and really liked it. It had a fair amount of power for a 6 cylinder and was alot of fun to drive. I just got tired of being laughed at driving it. It's such a small car and when your a bigger guy, you look stupid in it. They are ok cars for someone who hasn't been able to get a Corvette yet.
