Finally my leaking intake is going to replaced. It is annoying every time you pull the car out to see that little puddle of anti-freeze. I couldn't take it any more and am having it done Monday. Hopefully the ignition parts will find their way in also.
Yes leaking suck, I really want to fix my little oil leak soon, but will wait to when I do some major engine stuff at 90,000miles.
I dont feel like a good vette owner just ignoring my leak.
It's a shop right over the NY border. They have lots of knowledge and used to tune my mid 11 second mustang gt. I have no fear it'll be in good hands as they also tune 7 second grand nationals and mustangs! :D
Not bad though, 31K and never been ripped apart. Funny comparison..I couldn't keep the head gaskets on my stang, the intakes always leak on Chevies....There is always a gasket to break *****
You sound like me, I was always replacing head gaskets on my mustangs. Damn Paxton kept popping them :D You gotta love fords and their lack of head bolts.
Oh yeah! 14 pounds of boost the old Vortech B trim pumped in to it. It sort of reminds me of the Vette! Something is ALWAYS needing to be fixed on it hehe. I sold it for that reason. I guess it's my luck with hot rods.
That car currently goes 9.0@152 on a 10" tire
