Depends on who you ask.
You'll never get a "correct" answer to this question, as there are just too many variables.
The LT4 will hang with a stock '97 LS1, until you get to the corners at least.

Depends on who the driver is. car vs car there isn't much difference and the LT4 has been notoriously underrated for some reason.
