If I was looking to spent $20k, I would look no further then a C5 Z06 and call it a day.

Besides, lower initial start-up costs, about the only (non-subjective) advantage I can think of is the clamshell hood on the C4 and that front-tire-of-a-workbench to sit on while you're wrenching on it.

- Smoothest engine potential
- Highest potential Horsepower from a modified naturally aspirated engine
- Highest speed potential from a stock off the production line engine over 24 hours
- Highest top speed potential
(first three items - think LT5/ZR-1, fourth item - think sledgehammer)

Hey, I resemble that remark. I am a Corvette Fan, a Corvette Owner, and I drive a Honda. So, what is your point?

The deployment speed of the pop-up headlamps is about dead-nuts even, though.

I don't know about that one. The 4.5 revolutions that the C4 headlights make before getting stuck just past halfway takes a lot longer in my experience.

Meh, that's just bad bushings!
FWIW, C5 bushings go ****-up, too.
