Are any of these what you guys run??
I just don't wana pay 6.50 a plug for the A/C delco if I don't have to,they are the double platinum,which I can't find in NGK.
Also looking at rapidfire for 4.99
I just ordered my 8 mm Taylor wires, wana do all this when I have the W/P and opti off.
I used the TR55 copper core plug in my '93 with no problems. I just recently replaced them with a set of Autolite 606 copper core plugs (I couldn't beat the price). No problems with the 606's.

So you didn't use a platinum.
Did it run just as good as the ac delco platinum plugs????
TR 55's, copper core. I like them because they are inexpensive and that is important to me since I have to change them out so much. If you are thinking about N2O, you would want a cooler plug.
You are going to make me go to the garage and look at the last box I have
BRB
NGK Vpower TR55 3951
So why are so many of you guys going back to a regular plug over platinum???????
I was thinking a regular plug is good for say 30,000 miles it would take me 15 years to put that on my car.Is this why you guys go this route, also 2.XX a plug helps to.

OK, its not a corvette - but here is the story:
Had a 2001 Mustang V6, original plugs had 90K on them.
Replaced with BOSCH platinum plugs (just the single electrode).
What a MISTAKE, after 30k miles they were crap, replaced with the NGK TR55
Never had another problem with it until I put it in the wall at Road Atl.
On my 92 I replaced my plugs 4 years ago with the TR55. Replaced them again this year.
Now mine spends a lot of time at WOT, the plugs weren't worn, just had some fouling.
I don't like the idea of "replace your plugs every 100K miles", At $2 a plug I'll change them once a year if I need to.
personal opinion I do not think there is a plug out there that you will feel a difference from on the street unless they are bad. Just about any plug with everything working the way it should give you at least 80000 miles. I usealy use Autolite or A/C It really does not matter to be have had no problem out of any plugs.
