power window problem
Hi, I have an 85 vette, driver side window will only go up half way then stops you can hear the motor running, sounds like it is trying to catch but can,t. it will go down okay, but try to close it and it stops about half way. do you think it is the ribbon and how hard to change, part cost 19.95 hate to pay 100 or 200 for labor thanks

Its really not that bad I heard. When mine went out I upgraded to the later scissor type. You will hafta take the regulator out one way or the other I would think. Probly take you a couple hours.
