Default Ground Effects

I bought my car and it has the ground effects on it. I personally do not like them. Just getting a census of what you think.

I only like the John Greenwood kits with the full aero-body treatment, particularly the rear valance tunnel.

My opinion....

Ground effects destroy vettes.

even greenwood.

The corvette should not have a wing or sideskirts.

To each his own. I like my Greenwood. Not sure I would do it again but am pleased with what I have.

I like it. It's different. But, if you like it is the question. Nothing wrong from my perspective. Rock on. Own it.

it looks good, its funny that most people say they don't like kits ;whether they have a vette or not, but then almost get into an accident starring at it

The Greenwood Body kit looks Great and gives the C4 Vettes a more Muscular Aggressive stance.

Personally I don't care for them. May I ask, if you don't like them, why did you buy this particular car rather than one without?

Sure you can! I ran across this particular vette and the person was in a bind and needed to sell it. I looked at the mechanical more so than the looks. As my first one, I looked at it as a great project car.

Maybe they will grow on me as I move forward. Love it and love what it can be in the future with a little work!

Better to have a project car than a certified basket case. Looks like a nice car to me.

Change your wheels, and you will have a totally different car. You might be surprised how boring the car looks with out them when you really look at it.

A zr1 is another story.

But I have to ask, why did you buy a car you did not like? Unless you got it for free, there have to be other Vettes in the same price range.

I know its not a Charger, but I would bet that they would have to pick Catherine Bach up with a sponge at her age if she tried to jump through the window of that car like she, Bo & Luke used to do in the old days.

I agree on the wheels... I have been looking. A shop about a mile from my home has at least 8-10 sets to choose from. Never give a woman (as in me) that many options...

I have never been partial to any ground effect additions and prefer a stock look. That being said, it's your ride...do what makes you happy.

To me the ground effects make it look entirely too much like an 85-90 trans am. Not saying whether this is a good thing or a bad thing.

If you're unhappy with the ground effects, I wonder what you would be left with if you removed them? I don't know how they're attached, but some two sided tape and a few hidden set screws might not leave you with a big headache to try and fix. The wing, on the other hand...you'd better learn to love!
