Havent been on in a week or so. Anyways I just got to Germany last Tuesday. I shipped my car outta Baltimore the 23rd and she should be here by October 4th. Coming back from a year in Korea I had a lot to do to get the car ready and driveable again though shes about 95% there. I still have to put my wiper motor back in once she gets here. Does anyone know where I can get all the hardware? One thing Im worried about is my exhaust. Before I left I finally was able to have it finished-longtubes to 2.5 in true duals with an x pipe and a pair of spintech super pro streets (no cats). But I hear theres a sound limit to the exhausts here and they put a mic up to the exhaust. Since Ive been here I hear a bunch of loud cars-mostly bmws and vws, a few v8 trucks, and a loud sti and of course the typical stangs but I know my cars pretty loud and Im hoping I dont have to change anything.
Germany has lots of winter weather and windey roads. Keep that in mind. You may want to pick up a winter beater. That exhaust is gonna be bouncing off the villagers walls.

I had my Roadrunner in Germany. When I drove through the small towns I would rattle the windows.
Throw it neutral and red line it rolling through the little towns....when the townsfolk come to see what the commotion is, yell out the window DAS Auto....
Used to spend my summers in Wiesbaden und Ginsheim in my college days. Enjoy Deutschland......

Yes, we in germany have certain restrictions on how loud a car can be and a lot of other stuff (side markers, fog lamps, headlights and all this stuff), but if you're in the Army and have your car registered in the US you don't have to worry about the regulations. German regulations don't apply to cars registered in the US. At least as far as i know.
