I had Coast do the lowering on my 92. Since then, I do all my own work, but the mechanic there did a good job. Should look into West Coast Corvettes in Anaheim, corner of Tustin/Miraloma. They do lots of work there. Somethings wierd about Coast.
Me: Yes, I was wanting to know if you had an empty rack this morning. I need to have the fluid in my tranny checked
CC: Fluid in wha?
Me: Yes I have a 4x3 and it needs to be checked from the bottom...my jack is broken and I was just wanting to know if we could lift the car up for a moment
CC: Hold on (garble garble, oh yeah one of those transmissions) Sir, yeah, most people pull those out and replace them with a 5spd...cost about $5000
Me: Does this mean you do or don't have a lift available? On second thought never mind and forget I ever called....

I tried to tell him. That place has cars for sale that are sub par at best, never update their website for car sales or parts (well maybe once a year), never answer emails, the clothes are all sun bleached at the hanger line, and there's seldom any customers in there.
It was like calling the Twilight Zone....A fluid check went to a tranny swap worth $5k in milliseconds....
Have you seen that red ~87 that have on the "showcase" stand out front?? I got pictures one day just for fun....This car, sitting on the racks, is fully visible from the I-5 freeway. You can clearly see the hole in the windshield as you drive by........it's been there for ~4 years??
Why? Why would you leave a POS like this sitting out in front of your business on a showcase rack for years like this??
