Six speed shifting problems
The ZF 6 speed in my 93 coupe doesn't seem to shift as smoothly as it once did. It's not difficult to shift and there's no gear grinding. It used to shift very smoothly, now it seems to haver some slight resistance. What needs to be changed, trans lube or cluth fluid? Or something else?

thanks
Trans. Lube. When I changed mine it shifted easier. I went to the stealer ship to get the lube
If they are seeping you may be getting some tiny amounts of fluid bypassing the inner seal so it may not be disengaging quite all the way especially if youre stabbing the clutch pedal having fun.. Those slaves will take out a trans quicker than driving will imo.
Sure are nicer than an old school manual clutch boy do I remember those.

You mean those left leg "thigh masters". I have one in my 69. Not a lot of fun in traffic.
I'll check/ change the clutch fluid first (a hell of a lot easier than the trans). If that works - good. If not, it's off to the local BMW dealer then up on the lift she goes.
