Because I have a convertible, I don't know how the C4 coupe top is put together. I do have a C5 coupe, but never took it apart to see how many layers there are, and I know the C6's (2005) had a recall due to delaminating.

Is it just a top layer coming off of something solid below? If so, I would think a bonding adhesive would work fine.

According to 3M:

"For use on outer body panels only, not on structural components."

I don't believe you want to use that stuff. I recall you need a structural adhesive.

Do a search, I remember quite a few threads on this with specifics on the proper adhesives.
