Default pre-Renegade dyno is complete

I took my car down to TPS motorsports today for a quick check before I get my Renegade next weekend. As of right now the car has:

130K miles
All stock except Crane energizer 1.5 roller rockers, March underdrive pulleys, MSD coil/wires.

It made about what I expected - 158 hp and 239 ft/lbs of torque. I'll scan the dyno chart this weekend so I can post it. Now I have a good baseline so when I do the intake (and later the cam) I'll know what the differences are.

I'm also going to see about getitng some rough 0-60 and 1/4 mile times (or at least 1/4 mile MPH) info for comparison as well.

Good job! Thanks for bringing this here, as it should be interesting to see how the Renegade really shakes out!

It's the avatar. You need to find one where she's smiling. Everytime I see it, I want to call 911.

Whats to say about it. Nothing new really, just be interesting when you get your new numbers that will rival the TPI.

No doubt.....The FBI takes kidnapping seriously.

Seriously though, would be good to actually see a REAL (as opposed to SOTP) before and after analysis of an aftermarket Crossfire intake where nothing else was changed. We're hanging on the edge of our seats. Well....not really, but it sounded cool.

Let us know how it works out.

$50 for the dyno run.

I guess I'll have to look into a different avatar just to keep youse guyz happy.

I won't be changing anything other than the intake so that we get an accurate comparison.

I'm still running the 89 1/2 ton pickup truck injectors right now. I'll send the originals off for a rebuild, but I won't swap them in till after the post-install dyno run just to keep things consistent.

So marc, Do the '89 1/2 ton chevy trucks use the same injectors as our crossfires? Those trucks are 350 cid, right?

My S-10 4.3l blazer has a dual TBI setup(without a crossfire manifold of course), but I'm sure those injectors are metered for the smaller volume v6.
