Default direction blub replacement in dash

1988 coupe, right direction blub in dash does not light up when i turn right side on, outside bulbs work fine.
how do you change dash bulb?
does the entire dash face have to be removed.

not if you are carefull it does not. pull the bazel then remove the cover for the T/S and hight bean indicator bulbs. Now you have a couple of choices try to get a pair of neddle nose plyers on the bulb to pull it out or get a peice of rubber hose that will slip over the bulb with some supper glue on the inside of the hose. push the hose over the blub let the glue dry and pull the bulb out. I like the hose way less chance of braking bulb. chances are if you brake the bulb you are going to have to remove the gauges cause you will have no waay of pulling the bulb out.

im pretty sure you have to pull the cluster to change the blinker bulbs as well as the hi-beam bulb. You need to take the rear cover off to get to the bulbs. The 4 main bulbs that light up the lcd could be changed with a pice of rubber hose or needle nose pliers from the front
