Default wacky wipers

OK, gather around guys, the saga of the wacky windshield wipers continues.
Thought it might be in the motor, then maybe the circuit board for the wiper motor, or maybe the switch. Well, the plot thickens.
We take the car out to get a bite, when we start it up the radio won’t work but the tape player does and it sounds great (Before the player sounded sort of like the chipmunks). Of course now the wipers work perfectly.
We start back home hit a bump the radio comes back on tape player goes back to chipmunk mode and the wipers screw up again. Next thing radio works, chipmunk mode for the tape player and wipers work. By the time we get home we have gone through every conceivable combination I can think of. I know grounds can do some weird stuff but this is nuts.
Any ideas, this stuff has to be tied together but darned if I can figure how the radio and wipers are tied to gather, especially the Bose Radio/tape stuff.

I think you answered your own question... What to the wipers and radio have in common? Ground would be where I'd start looking. If you have a service manual, I'd look to see if there are any grounds shared between the 2 under the dash or hood. There is a ground wire at the back of the head near the wiper. Though I can't figure out how the hell a ground would cause chipmunks, maybe the bumps?

I wonder what Alvin & the Chipmunks Christmas songs would sound like in "Chipmunk Mode"
