hey guys, the 1995 beast is up for the winter now. this was my first season with the forum, i wish i had discovered it before this year. i want to thank everybody for helping me with some minor issues this summer, along with the myriad of knowledge i gleaned from this site....Frank
Man, gotta suck livin where you have to box up your cars.
We'll see ya next Spring, huh?
yes it does socalman, the only good thing about it, the mileage stays way down.... i'll still be lurking, never have enough knowledge and the general forum back and forth dialogue can be funny..
You mean the snow is already hitting the ground there?
No need to put mine away completely, even though we get a little snow.
If there is no snow on the ground, or salt on the streets I will get it out on nice days.

no snow yet RollaMo, but it's getting rainy and the leaves are falling, that combination of crap leaves a residue on the car that dries like cement, all over the underbody, wheel wells, etc....
Haven't put mine up yet. I am waiting on the first ice then salt on the roadways, then she goes into hibernation until around the first of April. I will sometimes get her out in March and head to the Corvette Expo in Tennessee, but that depends on the conditions here. Yeah Friz even living in Ohio they have to be put for awhile.....I am jealous of you guys that get drive them year round...

Hmmm..I'm not too far south from you but I try to keep mine out until at least mid-November. 55 and sunny this weekend will still be nice cruising weather. I do dread putting the 90 in storage from Nov-April. It gives you something to look forward to in the spring though.

Dang, I can get at least 3 more weeks of driving in. You on the north side? Only downside to driving in the autumn is emptying out the leaf catcher on the front of my Vette.
Yea, the leaves are going to fall early this year in the northeast. Very hot summer and no rain. My trees around my property are already losing their color.
Im in Central Minnesota and I still drove mine to work today . Soon, but not yet, the vette and Supra will be both put into hibernation for the snow.............. Right in my garage, that is heated to a comfy 65 degrees for them.
Last year I drove mine daily until Thanksgiving Weekend and brought it out the last week of March. It doesn't get put on the stands until the snow stays on the lawn.
Me too. We're probably going over to Tennessee the weekend after next. I'll still drive mine until November or so. She's staying inside this year. I sold my Chevelle a few weeks ago, so I have an empty bay.
